09:22 pm - While it's fresh in my mind... 12mos. and 2 year appts. Yearly check-ups today (2 months late heh): Allison is almost 36 inches tall, 39lbs Kadin is nearly 30 inches, 25lbs Emily is nearly 32 inches tall and 24lbs
So, Alli is 90% for height and way off the charts for weight (we're switching from 2% milk to skim, though pediatrician said this is more for heart disease than weight loss). Kadin is 25% for height and 50% for weight (it might have been more, he's really not balanced but it's ok, she said). And Emily is 90% for both.
Totally great visit... had Andrew AND my mom come since she wanted to take up to 3 hours with us and i knew the kids would have a tough time with that. Only took 2+ hours, but still, long appt.

07:56 pm - Holidays. Well, it's November, must be time to think about Christmas... :P This is what i'm getting for Alli to wear, i just love it and Emily is wearing Allison's dress from last year. But Kadin is a tough one, i think. i'd hate to get a dumb sweater and pants that's he's only going to wear once, so i was thinking just let him wear his jeans and get a cool sweater. We'll see.
i am extremely excited for the next 2 months.

08:22 am - 105.1 is not just a radio station. If you've ever wondered if a fever of over 105 for your 13 month old is scary... it is!
We've been to the dr's 3 times in the last 2 days, he's had cool baths and lots and lots of tests run. Dr. now says "probably H1N1". We'll have more test results soon.
This was supposed to be a nice weekend! Instead, i'm just absolutely exhausted--worrying does that to a mom.

10:24 pm - i mostly agree--except for the Olympics, i love the Olympics. I think religion is bad and drugs are good. I think America causes cancer, longevity is less important than fun, and young people should be discouraged from voting. I think stereotypes are true, abstinence is a perversion, Bush's lies are worse than Clinton's, and there's nothing sexy about being old or pregnant. I think September 11th changed nothing and if I had known the onset of war would add 100 points to George Bush's IQ, I would have started one. I think pornography stops rape, AIDS ribbons are stupid, and flag burning makes me feel patriotic. I think death is not the worst thing that can happen to you, people have too much self-esteem, and being drunk is funny. I think children are not innocent, God doesn't write books, and Jesus wasn't a Republican. I'm for Mad Cow disease and against suing tobacco companies. I think girls hate each other, no doesn't always mean no, you have to lie to stay married, women's sports are boring and the Olympics are gay. -Bill Maher.

10:01 pm - \['.com/?;, My son is sneaky. And almost good with computers!
Here is what he changed my homepage to... http://www.\['.com/?;,
Before we all sleep each night, the babies play on the bed while Daddy and i play on our laptops. They have been desperately trying to get to our computers for weeks now. i didn't even know he was successful until just now, when i hit my home key. Made me smile.

i think mine is either "oy effing vey" or "goll dangit!". If the kids aren't around i know i use "Jesus Christ!" and "Oh my fucking God" too much.
